Golf Places Fifth at PCAC Neutral No. 7

El Camino College finished in fifth place after losing the card off with Cuyamaca at Monday's PCAC Neutral No. 7 hosted by College of the Desert at The "S" at Rancho Mirage.

The Warriros and Cuyamaca carded a collective 68-over 428 on Monday. Cuyamaca scored the fourth-place standing after winning the card-off between the team's No. 5 golfers.

Kyle Murao paced ECC with a 7-over 79, which tied for 15th place overall. He finished seven strokes back of the lead. Joseph Bogaert (COD), Bernard Campos (MSJC), Jacob Montes (PAL) and Steven Wang (COD) shared medalist honors with an even-par 72.

Palomar scored the team victory after posting a 19-over 379, two shots better than the hosts. Mount San Jacinto finished third with a 22-over 382.

The Warriors will return to the links Wednesday afternoon at the PCAC Neutral No. 8 hosted by Cuyamaca at Sycuan Golf Course in El Cajon, Calif.
