WILMINGTON, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors scored 10 runs in the first two innings as they cruised to a 12-1 victory over LA Harbor on Thursday afternoon.
Three Warrior (6-2) hitters had multi-hit games. Jocelyn Hernandez led the team with three hits and scored three runs and had four RBIs. Diamond Lewis was 2-for-4 with one run and two RBIs. Marissa Garza was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Jocelyn Hernandez was also great in the circle for the Warriors after tossing four innings of one run ball. Mak Smith tossed a scoreless final inning for the Warriors. The pitching staff combined to hold the LA Harbor (1-3) hitters to just two hits.
The Warriors scored six runs in the first inning and four runs in the second inning off former Warrior pitcher, Maisie Weishoff. The Seahawks scored one run in the 4th inning before the Warriors added a final two more runs in the 5th inning.
The Warriors head to Palomar College on Saturday, February 23rd.
