El Camino College won its sixth straight game Wednesday night with a 69-36 South Coast Conference, South Division victory on the road at Compton College.

The Warriors (19-5, 5-0) continued to roll during conference play with their fourth double-digit victory in five SCC, South Division games. Salihah Bey and Alexia Mason each scored 15 points to lead the Warriors and Jordan Hixon grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the team. Bey added 10 boards of her own while Mason pulled in eight.

As a team, the Warriors outrebounded the Tartars 58-43 on the night. The Warriors outscored the Tartars by a combined 25 points in the second and third quarters to put the game out of reach.

The Warriors overcame a tough shooting night from the outside, going just 2-for-14 from beyond the arc. They did so by capitalizing on turnovers, scoring 17 points on 17 Tartars miscues. They also dominated the inside, outscoring Compton 40-8 in the paint.

With the win, the Warriors improved to 8-2 on the road this season and will continue to be away from the ECC North Gym as they take on L.A. Harbor on the road on Friday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
