Bio
Morgan was a two-time All-Mission Conference selection and two-time All-American in his time at ECC. He is currently tied for fifth place on the ECC All-Time list for career interceptions, hauling in nine picks in his Warriors career. Morgan would earn a full scholarship to Brigham Young University where he was named First Team All-WAC in 1997 and was voted BYU’s defensive player of the year. In the 1997 Cotton Bowl against Colorado, Morgan made the game-clinching interception at the 4-yard line with less than a minute left in regulation, cementing a 19-15 victory for the Cougars as they finished the year 13-1 overall. Morgan was a candidate for the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation’s top collegiate defensive back. He would go on to play 10 years in the Canadian Football League. He made the CFL All-Star Team in 2002-03 and 2005.
