Bio
Glenn Ervine was one of the best forwards to suit up for the ECC men’s soccer program. A member of the Warriors men’s soccer team for two seasons, the team combined to go 40-5-1 overall and 13-2-1 in Metro Conference play with one conference title in 1980 during his time on the pitch. Ervine was one of the team’s leading scorers in 1980 when the team finished the season with a 24-2-1 overall record. They won the Metro Conference with an 8-0-0 record and outscored their opponents 32-1 in conference play. The team was ranked No. 1 in the state and Ervine helped lead the Warriors to a third-place finish at the state tournament after losing in the state semifinals, 2-1, to Chabot which was played during a heavy rain storm. The Warriors would beat Golden West 3-0 in the third-place match. Ervine would go on to be drafted by the Portland Timbers of the North American Soccer League directly out of ECC in 1980.
