Beach Volleyball Drops Pair on Friday

LONG BEACH, Calif. --- El Camino College completed the regular season on Friday with a pair of losses to Long Beach City and Cerritos at the LBCC Beach Volleyball Complex.

LONG BEACH 5, WARRIORS 0

The Warriors did not win a set against the Vikings on Friday, suffering a season sweep to LBCC this year, both by identical 5-0 scores.

CERRITOS 3, WARRIORS 2

The Warriors got wins on court three and court five but could not get the decisive victory as they fell to the Falcons. Justine Sapitanan and Ava Ober defeated Danna Higuera and Tiffany Teats 21-19, 23-21 on court three.

Arden Templeton and Yasmine Itani needed three sets to pull out their match on court five, winning 22-20, 16-21, 15-7.

The Warriors will return to LBCC next week for the South Coast Conference Pairs Championships.
