Henry Notches Top-10 Finish at Victoria Club
RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- Freshman Aden Henry recorded his first career top-10 finish as El Camino College competed at the Orange Empire Conference Match hosted by Riverside at the Victoria Club in Riverside, Calif.
Henry recorded a 3-over 75 and tied for seventh overall. He finished one stroke shy of posting a top-five finish and recorded his third straight round in the 70s and sixth overall this season.
Cory Rose of Victor Valley earned medalist honors with a 5-under 67. He was one of three players that carded a score under par on the day.
In the team standings, the Warriors placed ninth with a 421. Cypress took first place with a 14-over 374 with College of the Desert (381) and Cuyamaca (385) rounding out the top three teams.
The Warriors will be back in action on Wednesday as they participate in the OEC match hosted by Mount San Antonio at El Prado Golf Club in Chino, Calif.
