Cazares Named National Player of the Week

United Soccer Coaches' National Players of the Week - Nov. 1

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Freshman Charlie Cazares was named the United Soccer Coaches' National Junior College Player of the Week, it was announced Wednesday.

The midfielder was instrumental in helping the Warriors go 2-0 last week, dishing out two assists in the Warriors 3-2 road victory over Long Beach City on Friday afternoon. He played and started in both matches for ECC last week.

The Warriors wrapped up conference play undefeated after Tuesday's 8-1 romp at Pasadena. They clinched the South Coast Conference, South Division title and a first round bye in the upcoming SCC Tournament.
