TORRANCE, Calif . - The El Camino College Warriors men's soccer team put a dominant display against Pasadena City in Tuesday's 6-2 win at the ECC Soccer Field.

The Warriors (11-1-2, 4-1 SCC) outshot the Lancers 26-to-6 for the game and had 15 shots on goal  to the Lancers 3 shots on goal.  The Warriors also had an 11-0 corner kick advantage.

The Warriors had six unique goal scorers for the game with Aldahir Rua, Charlie Cazares, Joshua Zendejas, Alek Palomares, Sebastian Gomez, and Erik Kerner all finding the back of the net.  Robert Baker was called upon to make one save for the game while Rayshon Roberts did an admirable job for the Lancers making 9 saves.

The Warriors struck first in the 14th minute of the game.  After the Lancers tried playing it out of the back on a goal kick, pressure from Diego Garcia on the Lancers defender caused him to turn the ball over.  Aldahir Rua stole it and shot it through the keeper's legs to put the Warriors up 1-0 on the turnover.

The Warriors doubled their advantage in the 25th minute.  Marvin Gamez had a shot blocked by a defender's hand inside the box.  Charlie Cazares stepped up and drilled the penalty on a chip down the middle to make it 2-0.

The Lancers got a goal back in the 29th minute after Jorky Aguirre one timed a shot past Robert Baker on a ball from Alex Petrossians to make it 2-1.

The Warriors added their third goal just before the half ended in the 42nd minute.  Alek Palomares got through on a through ball but took too wide of a touch to round the keeper.  He sent it back to the top of the box where Joshua Zendejas rifled a shot to make it a 3-1 game.

The Lancers scored three minutes out of the break to make it a one-goal contest again as Angel Nolasco scored in the 48th minute to make it 3-2.

However, the Warriors responded immediately and scored a minute later.  Franco De Luna won the ball and sent it up to Marvin Gamez down the right side who crossed it to Alek Palomares who one timed his shot past the Lancers keeper to make it 4-1.

The Warriors blew the game open in the 72nd minute after Sebastian Gomez made it a 5-2 game.  After the Warriors stole the ball at midfield, Andrew Valencia passed the ball up to Alek Palomares.  Palomares sent a cross to Marvin Gamez who's shot was blocked by the Lancer keeper but the rebound went straight to Gamez who passed it to a wide open Sebastian Gomez who scored on the open net.

The Warriors added their sixth and final goal in the 83rd minute when Erik Kerner scored.  Kerner, who had subbed onto the field a minute beforehand was sent a long ball up from Andrew Valencia. Kerner took on a defender 1v1 and blasted his shot to the lower far post to make it a 6-2 game.

The Warriors are set to remain at home as they take on the No. 1 team in the state Mt. Sac on Friday.  Kick-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
