Hossain and Waldiya Fall in Round of 32 at State Championships

VENTURA, Calif. --- Tarik Hossain and Shubham Waldiya had their 2025 season come to an end on Friday after suffering a loss in straight sets in the round of 32 at the 3C2A State Championships held at Pierpoint Racquet Club in Ventura, Calif.

The Warriors' top duo faced Ian Nicodemus and Brodie Young-Smith of Glendale in the round of 32 after winning their opening match on Thursday afternoon.

Hossain and Waldiya dropped the first set, 6-3, but kept it close in set two. Unfortunately, the Warriors' team could not send the match to a third set after falling 7-5 in the second.
