Camez Earns Second Straight NFCA All-American Nod
2017 NFCA CalJC All-American Team Release
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the second straight season, sophomore outfielder Raelani Camez was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association CalJC All-American Team, it was announced Monday.
Camez was named to the 2017 NFCA CalJC All-American South Region, the only player to earn a repeat appearances after making the team in 2016.
To date, Camez is batting .432 on the season, which ranks sixth in the California Community College Athletic Association as of Monday. Camez leads the Warriors with 54 runs scored, which ranks 11th in the CCCAA. He 10 triples lead the Warriors and are tied for the most in the CCCAA.
She is currently second in the team with 51 hits on the season and also posted seven doubles.
The Warriors defeated Riverside in the CCCAA Softball Southern California Regionals in two games this past weekend and will face Antelope Valley at the Mount SAC Super Regional on Friday at 8 p.m.
