Ramirez Named Pitcher of the Year as All-State and All-Region Teams Announced
2025 3CFCA All-State and All-Region Release
LOS ANGELES --- Sophomore Lexi Ramirez was named the 2025 Pitcher of the Year as the 3CFCA All-State and All-Region teams were announced on Monday.
Ramirez became the first Warriors pitcher ever to earn the distinction after a record-setting season as the team's ace in the circle. She set new school records in innings pitched (181.0), wins (24) and strikeouts (173) in 2025 to help lead the team to the No. 5 seed in the upcoming 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs.
Ramirez also earned a spot on the 3CFCA All-State Team along with teammate Savanna Kastigar while Cheyenne Navarro earned a spot on the All-Southern California Team.
Along with her pitching prowess, Ramirez posted a .333 batting average in 40 regular season games with 36 hits including three doubles, two triples and four home runs. She drove in 33 RBIs while drawing 13 walks.
Kastigar played in all 40 games for the Warriors during the season and batted .500 as she posted 62 hits including six doubles and eight triples with three home runs. She drove in 34 RBIs and scored 44 runs while leading the team with 25 stolen bases.
Kastigar and Ramirez became the Warriors' first All-State Team selections since 2019 when Diamond Lewis and Jocelyn Hernandez each made the team with Lewis winning 3CFCA Player of the Year.
Meanwhile, Navarro became the eighth player under head coach Jessica Rapoza to earn All-Region honors as she played in 31 regular season games in 2025. She posted a .481 batting average with 39 hits including six doubles, six triples and a team-leading five home runs. She had 26 RBIs and stole 11 bases on the year.
The Warriors will open the 2025 3C2A SoCal Regionals on Friday afternoon against No. 12 seed San Diego Mesa at 2 p.m.
