Ramirez, Kastigar, Navarro Named NFCA All-Americans
2025 NFCA All-Americans Announcement
LOUISVILLE,Ky. --- Sophomores Lexi Ramirez, Cheyenne Navarro and freshman Savanna Kastigar were all named to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America team, it was announced Wednesday.
The trio of Warriors was the third most players selected to the combined team of players from both Northern and Southern California, trailing only Palomar and West Valley which earned four selections apiece.
Wednesday's announcement also marks the first time any Warriors player has earned NFCA All-American honors since 2022 when Alyssa Lujan earned the distinction. The three selections also mark the most players selected from the Warriors in any given season all-time.
Ramirez was named the South Coast Conference Co-Pitcher of the Year in 2025. She currently has a 26-7 overall record with a 1.11 ERA. She has recorded 185 strikeouts in 195 innings pitched and has allowed opponents to hit just .168 so far this year. She recorded consecutive shutouts in the Warriors first round sweep of San Diego Mesa in the first round of the 3C2A SoCal Regionals.
Navarro is currently batting .453 with six doubles, six triples, five home runs and 32 RBIs. She has scored 32 runs in 33 games played and leads the team with an .837 slugging percentage and 1.393 OPS.
Kastigar leads the team with 63 hits and a .488 batting average so far this year. She has six doubles, nine triples and three home runs with 35 RBIs. She has a team high 25 stolen bases and boasts a .553 on-base percentage.
The Warriors will continue their road to a state title on Friday when they open the second round of the 3C2A SoCal Regionals at No. 4 Long Beach City for a best-of-three series.
