TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped its final two home games of the regular season on Saturday afternoon, suffering a doubleheader sweep to Bakersfield at the ECC Softball Field.

GAME ONE: Bakersfield 12, Warriors 1 (5 Innings)

The Warriors were no-hit through the first three innings and finished with three hits as they allowed their opponent to score in double digits for the third straight game.

Four errors also proved costly as the Renegades scored seven unearned runs on the day. Emily Gamboa, Emma Padilla and Abigale Dedech recorded the hits for ECC.

GAME TWO: Bakersfield 2, Warriors 1

The starting pitchers starred for both teams as each went the distance, but the Warriors came up short for the fourth straight game.

The Warriors took the lead in the fourth thanks to a throwing error by the Renegades, giving the team a 1-0 edge.

But the Renegades answered in the sixth as Elizabeth Alderete tripled to the wall in left field, scoring two runners to take a 2-1 lead.

Pitcher Alexia Martinez would make that stand as she allowed just one unearned run on five hits with two walks and two strikeouts.

Estrella Tapia suffered a complete-game loss despite allowing just two runs on the day.

The Warriors will conclude the regular season on Tuesday with a road game at Long Beach City.
