Warriors Grab Eight All-Conference Nods

2026 All-SCC TEAM

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College had eight players named to the 2026 All South Coast Conference Team, it was announced Sunday.

The Warriors had three players named to the first team with two second team selections and three players earned honorable mention.

Jazmin McHenry, Trinity Martinez and Emily Gamboa all earned spots on the first team. McHenry batted .314 on the season and notched five triples, one home run and 15 RBIs during the regular season.

Martinez batted .358 with two home runs and 26 RBIs as she led the team with 43 hits overall. She added six doubles and three triples along with 15 walks and a .434 on-base percentage.

Gamboa capped off her Warriors' career with her first career All-SCC selection as she batted .378 and led the team with 10 doubles. She added one triple and 19 RBIs with a .447 on-base percentage as she played in 39 games during the regular season.

Sophia Munguia and Gabby Merced both earned spots on the All-SCC Second Team as Munguia batted .333 on the season. She finished the regular season with 34 hits including six doubles and two triples with 19 runs scored.

Merced posted a .389 batting average with 21 hits in 54 at bats and had two doubles with nine runs scored for the Warriors in her freshman season.

Emma Padilla, Raquel Alonso and Kate Pedroza all earned honorable mention. Padilla had 31 hits during the regular season with 24 RBis. She led the team with four home runs and added four doubles and one triple.

Alonso made 23 appearances in the circle with 15 starts to lead the Warriors. She finished 10-5 with one save and nine complete games. She had 43 strikeouts and posted a 2.92 ERA in 115 innings pitched.

Pedroza played in all 40 games and tallied 32 hits during the season. She led the Warriors with 25 runs scored and added 18 RBIs with three doubles and two triples.
