Warriors Swim at Golden West Invitational

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. --- El Camino College participated in the Golden West Invitational on Friday at Golden West College.

Highlights included:

• Iyanah Samayoa won three more events this week as she claimed titles in the 50 backstroke (30.17), 50 butterfly (27.74) and the 100 individual medley (1:03.49).
• Olivia Mozian placed third in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:49.64.
• Ryan Song scored a second-place finish in the 50 butterfly with a time of 25.04.
• Vincenzo Crivello joined Song on the podium, placing third in the 50 fly with a time of 25.12.

The Warriors will be back in the pool on Friday, Feb. 28 with their first conference tri-meet of the season when they take on Mount San Antonio and Cerritos at Mt. SAC.
