Warriors Compete at Riverside Invitational

RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- El Camino College competed at the Riverside Invitational hosted by Riverside City College on Friday and Saturday.

Iyanah Samayoa added three more wins to her ledger this season as she took home the top spot in the 200 individual medley (2:15.57), 100 breastroke (1:07.96) and 1650 freestyle. In addition to the victories, Samayoa climbed up the ECC All-Time list in the 1650 free (18:53.10, 6th all-time) and the 200 free (2:01.65, t-14th all-time).

Other highlights of the weekend included:

• Olivia Mozian finished second in the 500 free (5:34.11) and the 1650 free (19:19.41). Her time in the 1650 free ranks 11th on the ECC All-Time list while her time in the 1000 free (11:39.84) is currently ranked 12h all time. She also posted a fourth-place finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:12.65.
• Ryan Song posted top five finishes in the 300 IM (3rd, 4:25.73), 100 IM (4th, 55.26), 200 breast (4th, 2:21.79) and 200 IM (5th, 2:04.68)
• Raina Henty-Dodd placed fifth in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:29.87.
• Vincenzo Crivello's time in the 100 IM (1:01.81) placed 12th on the ECC All-Time List.
• Samuel Orendain's time in the 100 IM (1:01.95) placed 14th on the ECC All-Time List.

The Warriors will return to conference action on Friday with a dual meet against Rio Hondo and Long Beach at Rio Hondo College.
