MONTEREY PARK, Calif. --- El Camino College secured a few more medals on day two of the South Coast Conference Championships hosted by East Los Angeles College at the ELAC Swim Stadium.

Iyanah Samayoa headlined the Warriors' accomplishments on Friday as she repeated as conference champion in the 100 breastroke. She clocked in at 1:04.59, besting her time in the event last year (1:05.10). It was also just five tenths off her current school record of 1:04.09, which she set at the 3C2A State Championships in 2024.

Samayoa also grabbed a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay along with Olivia Mozian, Victoria Rodriguez and Raina Henty-Dodd. The quartet finished in 1:55.19, trailing only Mt. SAC (1:47.98) in the event. The performance in the event also ranked as the sixth best time in ECC history.

On the men's side, Ryan Song logged a second-place finish in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:16.81. He finished behind winner Gavin Roberts of Mt. SAC, who clocked a time of 4:08.86.
