Mozian, Samayoa, Song, Relay Teams Earn All-American Honors

El Camino College had three individuals and five relay teams earn 3C2A Swim and Dive Coaches' Association All-America honors at the conclusion of the season.

Olivia Mozian and Iyanah Samayoa earned the individual distinction on the women's song while Ryan Song earned All-America honors on the men's side. In addition, five relay teams also earned the distinction which goes to the top-15 times in each event recorded in the state.

Mozian earned All-America distinction for her performances in the 500 freestyle and the 1650 freestyle at the 2025 3C2A State Championships. Her time of 5:16.42 in the 500 free was the eighth best in the state and 9th in the nation amongst two-year colleges. She was also an All-American in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 18:15.55 which was the fourth best time in the state and sixth best in the nation.

Samayoa, a two-time state champion in 2025 and five-time state champ in her two years at ECC, logged five All-American performances during the season. She earned the distinction in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, 100 freestyle, 200 individual medley and the 1650 freestyle.

She recorded the bulk of her times at the 3C2A State Championships, logging the eighth best time in the state and 11th in the nation in the 100 free (53.46). In her state title-winning performances in the 100 and 200 breast, Samayoa recorded the best times in the state in the 100 breast (1:03.41) and the 200 breast with a state-record performance of 2:15.93, the best time in the nation. She also posted the second-best time in the state and third in the nation in the 200 IM (2:06.0). Samayoa also posted the eighth best time in the state and 13th in the nation in the 1650 free at the Riverside Invitational in March with a time of 18:53.10.

On the men's side, Song logged three All-American performances in the 200 breast along with the 200 and 400 IM. He was 14th in the state in the 200 breast with a time of 2:09.17 at the 3C2A State Championships. He also logged the No. 14 time in the state in the 200 IM (1:56.32) and the No. 9 time in the 400 IM at 4:12.18.

In the relays, the Warriors had the team of Samayoa, Mozian, Victoria Rodriguez and Raina Henty-Dodd earned All-America times in the 200 free relay (1:42.99, 12th), 400 free relay (3:45.49, 11th) and 200 medley relay (1:55.19, 13th). Alyssa Mack replaced Rodriguez in the 400 medley relay as that foursome posted a time of 4:13.95 for the 11th best time in the state.

The men's 800 free relay team of Song, Vincenzo Crivello, Brayden Sanchez and Samuel Orendain had the 14th best time in the event at 7:16.78 to earn All-America honors.
