Track and Field Competes at Ron Kamaka Invitational

WALNUT, Calif. --- El Camino College competed at the Ron Kamaka Invitational on Saturday at Hilmer Lodge Stadium on the campus of Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif.

Highlights from the meet included:

• Savanna Mullins placed third in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.63.
• Curtis Williams scored a top-5 finish in the 110 high hurdles with a time of 16.08.
• Laighton Scott placed seventh in the discus with a throw of 32.21 meters (128 feet, seven inches)
• Gunner Perez finished ninth in the decathlon with 5411 total points.
• Aaron Cohen placed 10th in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:10.28.
• Nia Sinclaire Jarveaux placed 10th in the javelin with a throw of 23.02 meters (75 feet, six inches)

The Warriors will return to action on Friday, March 7 at the Viking Invitational at Long Beach City College.
