Badminton Falls to Pasadena City as Second Round of Conference Begins

PASADENA, Calif. --- El Camino College began the second round of South Coast Conference play with a 17-4 loss to Pasadena on Wednesday afternoon at the Hutto-Patterson Gym at Pasadena City College.

The Warriors doubled their win total from the first meeting between the teams to start the season when the Lancers took that match 19-2.

On Wednesday, Anya Gore was the bright spot for ECC as she went 3-1 overall on the day. She won both of her singles matches to push her singles winning streak to six straight matches. She also won one of her doubles matches with partner Montila Winyaworapon.

The Warriors will return to action on Wednesday, April 2 with another road contest against Compton.
