TORRANCE, Calif. --- Marley Zermeno scored a career high for El Camino College in a 57-41 South Coast Conference loss to visiting Cerritos on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
Zermeno recorded her first career double-digit scoring output as she finished with 14 points on the night. She also added four rebounds, two steals and one assist.
Bella Blum led the Warriors with 15 points and 11 rebounds with two blocks. Presley Tanaka dished out a team-high four assists in the loss.
The Falcons were led by Natalie Poppin's 19-point effort on 6-for-12 shooting while Lauryn Nakamura added 15 points and a game-high seven assists.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday evening with a road game at L.A. Harbor.
