Warriors Hit Bermuda Dunes for Last Match before Conference Championships
BERMUDA DUNES, Calif. --- The El Camino College golf team participated in the final Orange Coast College match hosted by College of the Desert at Bermuda Dunes Country Club.
Aden Henry, Kevin Hikichi and Joshua Martinez all recorded top-20 finishes and scores in the 70s to lead the Warriors on Monday.
Henry logged his fourth straight top-10 finish of the season as he tied for 10th with a 5-over 77. It was his sixth straight round in the 70s and ninth overall.
Hikichi and Martinez finished one stroke back of Henry with a 6-over 78. Hikichi logged his second top-20 finish in conference play while Martinez recorded his second straight finish in the top 20 and second straight round of 78.
Cory Rose of Victor Valley earned medalist honors as the only player to score under par, posting a 4-under 68.
In the team standings, Orange Coast scored the victory with a 22-over 382 with Mt. SAC (387) and Cypress (388) rounded out the top-3.
The Warriors will wrap up the regular season on Wednesday at the OEC Championships hosted by OCC at Costa Mesa Country Club. The teams will play 36 holes on the Los Lagos Course beginning at approximately 7 a.m.
