RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. --- No. 18 El Camino College edged No. 12 Chaffey 2-0 in a non-conference game on Wednesday at Chaffey.

Pitching was the story through eight innings as neither team could find a way to get on the scoreboard.

Warriors' starter Cameron O'Neil and Panthers pitcher Joe O'Regan matched zeroes in six innings of work. O'Neil allowed five hits and walked three while recording five strikeouts with O'Regan giving up six hits to the Warriors while fanning six without issuing a walk.

Tyler Tellenbach tossed two innings of relief and would get the victory while Kole Acker pitched the last three innings for the Panthers and took the loss.

In the ninth inning, Dylan Mares drew a one-out walk and then Daniel Craig entered to pinch-run. The substitution paid off as Gio Crow smashed a double to left field and Craig came all the way around to score and give ECC a 1-0 lead.

Crow would advance to third on a flyout and then Jack Nammack came through with a clutch two-out single to center to plate Crow for some insurance and a 2-0 lead.

Closer Slater Nunez would enter in the bottom of the inning and retired the side in order to secure the victory.

The Warriors will finish up the 2025 regular season on Thursday afternoon with one last road game at College of the Desert. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
